Ring-tree TWDM optical access network with dynamic wavelength and bandwidth allocation

A novel ring-tree TWDM optical access network architecture using matrix optical switch and OEO wavelength converter is proposed. The architecture owns flexible on-demand wavelength and timeslot provision, OLT energy saving ability and backward compatibility.
