In the first step, a master clock sends an inspection order message to a remote slave clock, and measures and temporarily stores a master clock message sending timestamp A, and the slave clock measures and records a slave clock message receiving timestamp B after receiving the inspection order message. In the second step, the slave clock prepares a response message in advance, immediately sends the response message out after receiving the inspection order message, and measures and records a slave clock message sending timestamp C, and the master clock measures and records a master clock message receiving timestamp D after receiving the response message. In the third step, the slave clock organizes a follow-up message including the slave clock message receiving timestamp B and the slave clock message sending timestamp C and sends the follow-up message to the master clock after sending the response message out, the master clock obtains the master clock message sending timestamp A, the slave clock message receiving timestamp B, the slave clock message sending timestamp C and the master clock message receiving timestamp D after receiving the follow-up message, the master clock calculates the timing error of the slave clock according to the four values, and the master clock outputs the timing error of each slave clock to a server for storage, counting and analysis so as to complete concentrated inspection.
