A Mamdani-FLC based Nine Switch Converter Topology for Integration and Power Control of HAS

In this work a Hybrid Autonomous system is considered where desegregation and power control are the two major purposes. A Mamdani Fuzzy Controller based Nine Switch converter is used as a interface between a micro-hydro based self excited induction generator system and DFIG based wind energy conversion system. The extravagant feature of the M-FLC based NSC is that it control both rotor side as well as the stator side power flow of the DFIG based WECS. The active power flow to the system is met by a BESS connected at the dc-link of the NSC. The terminals connected at the stator side of DFIG based WECS is responsible for reactive power flow to/from the system. The robustness of the M-FLC is intervened by the independent control structures designed for the HAS. The comparative analysis of the hybrid autonomous system is done by subjecting it to load fluctuations.
