Anesthesia Providers, Patient Outcomes, and Costs

I n the MinnesotaCare Bill of 1994, the legislature required a study of anesthesia practices [Article 8, Section 691. In this study, the Commissioner of Health was to report to the legislature on anesthesia services provided in health care facilities in Minnesota by physicians and nurse anesthetists. To be included in this study was a comparison of different third-party reimbursement practices and contractual and employment
