A generalized lapped orthonormal transform for asymmetrically overlapped windows

The theory of lapped transforms is extended to include asymmetrical overlaps between adjacent intervals. Thus, this result will permit lapped transforms to be used between two intervals of greatly differing size.<<ETX>>
