Implementation of ML Sequence with Length Controlled Based on CPLD

This article designed the maximal-length(ML) sequence generator with length and feeding-back under control based on complex programmable logical device(CPLD).Firstly,it analyzed shift register configuration of ML sequence.Then, a new design about ML with length and feeding-back under control was proposed and fulfilled on the in-system programmable device,EPM8282ALC84-2 of ALTERA Company under the environment of Quartus2.1.Its function was tested and verified.The conclusion is consistent with the predicted ML.The system has easily characteristic of maintaining and expanding.
