A Review of Novel Frequency Reconfigurable Wireless Monopole Antenna for Less Complexity

The printed, reconfigurable monopole antenna covers communication frequencies for the WiMAX, WLAN, ISM / WI-FI and C band. The results of the antenna configuration including S-Parameter, VSWR Peak gain, and Radiation pattern characteristics are discussed and described between these frequencies with two diodes which D1 and D2. A reconfigurable antenna has the function of reducing the complexity of an antenna system operating over a broad frequency band and reducing the need for several antennas to perform a specific task, offering a relatively large bandwidth and achieving a dynamic reconfiguration within a few microseconds to meet the requirements of modern wireless communication systems. The antenna is simulated with software HFSS emulation.
