A R are Case of Retroperitone al Haematoma Complicating Pregnancy

Nontraumatic retroperitoneal haemorrhage is uncommon in pregnancy and the diagnosis is often difficult due to gravid uterus. The high mortality rate associated with this condition is correlated to the rapidity of haematoma formation. This case is presented here due to its rarity and fatal outcome as symptoms from a retroperitonea l haematoma are usually not impressive until the sudden onset of hypotension or shock.
