Theoretical Study of the Real Functioning of Binary Switching Elements-Non-Binary Switching Elements

We indicated during our study of switching hazards in combinational and sequential systems, that algebras more complicated than Boolean algebra would have to be considered in order to explain how a relay (for example) functions. The most important work done in this field is due to the Roumanian school under the direction of Moisil. We highly recommend the interested reader to refer to these works, cited in the bibliography, in order to have a more complete treatment.
