다중블럭 / 병렬처리기법을 이용한 냉장고 열유동장 3차원 해석

A three dimensional numerical study has been performed on the duct system of a freezer-refrigerator. Flow fields are solved with the finite volume method(SIMPLE) modified by the low Reynolds number k-e turbulent model. In the calculation, the multi-block method is adopted to solve the complicated flow field and the parallel processing is also included to reduce the calculation time. The effects of fans and evaporators is considered with appropriate models in the study. The flow and temperature characteristics of the cold air and the flow rate in each outlet are examined in terms of the size of a inlet. The results show that it is possible to get the reasonable data in a complicated duct system installed inside the refrigerator with proper numerical schemes and numerical models. The total flow rate of the cold air is in good agreement with the experimental result.
