A Novel Approach to Fuzzy Model Identification Based on Bat Algorithm

Theidentificationofafuzzymodelisacomplexandnonlinearproblem.Thiscanbeformulatedas asearchandoptimisationproblemandmanycomputingapproachesareavailableintheliteratureto solvethisproblem.Thisresearchpaperisfocusedonusinganewnatureinspiredapproachforfuzzy modelingbasedonBatAlgorithmwhichisderivedfromthebehaviourofmicro-batstosearchfor theirprey.Thebatalgorithmapproachhasbeenimplementedandvalidatedsuccessfullyonarapid batterychargerfuzzycontrollerproblem.Currently,thekeyrequirementisreal-timesolutionsto complexproblemsatablazingspeed.Batalgorithmevolvedtheoptimisedfuzzymodelwithinafew secondsascomparedtootherapproaches.
