On Pointwise Decay of Linearized Stationary Incompressible Viscous Flow around Rotating and Translating Bodies

We consider a system arising by linearization of a model for stationary viscous incompressible flow past a rotating and translating rigid body. Using a fundamental solution proposed by Guenther and Thomann [J. Math. Fluid Mech., 8 (2006), pp. 77–98], we derive a representation formula for the velocity field. This formula is then used to obtain pointwise decay estimates and to identify a leading term with respect to this decay. In addition, we prove a representation theorem for weak solutions of the stationary Navier–Stokes system with Oseen and rotational terms.
