Design of a Smart Mechatronic System to Combine Garments for Blind People: First Insights

In some professions, the way we dress, has a great impact in the context we are inserted. This task can be a huge problem specially for the visually impaired. They dependent on their relatives, friends, and/or support center professionals for the purchase or for choosing the clothes to wear. With the advance of technology, it is important to minimize the limitations of a blind person. One of the issues that remain to be explored is the case of the selection and combination of garments by a blind user. This paper aims to present a prototype to help blind people in the selection of garments.
