Circuit analysis and flotation kinetics at Brunswick Mining and Smelting

ABSTRACT A combination of image analysis and pilot scale column flotation is used to deduce flotation behaviour of sphalerite/pyrite binary particles from the zinc cleaning circuit of Brunswick Mining and Smelting. Analysis of circuit performance is conducted and implications of locked particle flotation are discussed with respect to circuit modification and location of a zinc regrind.
