Rear view camera system with reversible rear view mirror

The invention relates to an outside rear view mirror of a vehicle and particularly relates to a rear view camera system with a reversible rear view mirror. The system comprises an installation support (4) which is fixed to a car door system (5), a rear view mirror (1) connected to the installation support (4) and a camera (3) installed on the installation support (4), wherein a turn-up unit (6) is arranged on the rear view mirror (1), a fixing unit (7) is arranged on the installation support (4) and connected to the turn-up unit (6) through a supporting post (8), the turn-up unit (6) regards the supporting post (8) as a pivot to drive the rear view mirror (1) to turn up vertically, and the rear view mirror (1) can be hidden in a groove (9) of the car door system (5) after turning up. The system has the advantages that the structure is easy and simple to implement, the camera is used for viewing backwards under the normal state, the rear view mirror is folded downwards and hidden in the car door system and the car width is effectively reduced.
