Power Grid Planning Research Platform(PGPRP) is a very important system which can realize integrated power grid planning and integrated management of the planning data,and can thus make the country's grid planning more rational and scientific.The platform's data model is designed based on spatial database technology.The platform's the prototype system and the analytical function of grid structures are developed by means of geographic information system and the integrated network of B/S and C/S.Characterized by information,visualization,interchangeableness and intelligence,the PGPRP can effectively integrate the planning management and functional technology and is conducive to the establishment of the unified planning system.
