Spatial time-frequency MUSIC algorithm in α stable distribution noise environment

The α stable distribution has been suggested as a more appropriate model in the field of Direction of Arrival(DOA) estimation of non-stationary array signals processing. DOA estimation mean-squared error(MSE) of ROC-MUSIC, FLOM-MUSIC based on Fractional Low Order Moment(FLOM) matrices and STF-MUSIC based on Spatial Time-Frequency Matrices(STFDM) was greater in low GNSR α stable distribution environment, resolution was lower. Hence, a new Time-Frequency FLOM-MUSIC(TF-FLOM-MUSIC) method employed FLOM-STFDM was proposed, procedures of algorithm was introduced in this paper. Simulations show that the technique demonstrate the advantages in terms of resolution and MSE than TF-MUSIC and FLOM-MUSIC, was robust.
