Modeling and Analysis of Multiprocessor Systems with Priority and Multiple Recources Allocation to the Tasks

This paper presents the performance analysis of multiprocessor systems, using discrete time models, under the operating conditions of (i) priority and (ii) multiple resources allocation to the tasks. The model represents the behaviour of a processing element using a semi-Markov process. The results are obtained for the systems with cross-bar and multiple-bus interconnection networks.
