Application of discrete spectrum correction technology in track spectrum estimation

Track spectrum is an effective method for evaluating the whole ride comfort of railway track. On the other hand, random track irregularity is a main input function in dynamic response and parameter optization designing of rolling stock. In engineering practice, trcak spectrum generally used to describe the distribution of amplitude relative spatial frequency of track irruglarity. In the above two applications, we firstly calculate the track spectrum by using the data from track geometry car. Periodogram method is mostly used. However, because of the inherent shortcomings in discrete Fourier transform, could not obtain satisfactory results. In this paper we propose to applicate the technology of discrete spectrum correction in track spectrum analysis for improving the precision of track spectrum.
