The Empirical and Content Validity of Assessment Centers vs. Traditional Methods for Predicting Managerial Success

Criteria of managerial success and their use in empirical and content validation are discussed. Validities of assessment centers and traditional methods are compared. Assessment centers can be used with content rather than empirical validation, but work should continue on improved criteria and comparison with other methods.
