Aiming at solving the data acquisition and storage problem frequently met in array signal processing system, a large-scale sonar signal acquisition and storage system is proposed in this paper. System hardware and software designs are realized. Data is collected through a serial-output Analog Digital Converter (ADC) array which allows a large number of channel signals to be sampled simultaneously. Using and Flash, the tremendous data that ADCs output are reliably stored. Real time data transmission and data playback are achieved through the modified LVDS data bus. Finally, the operability and stability of the design are verified by experimental testing. The proposed system in this paper provides a reference design for massive multi-channel signal acquisition and storage.
