PROPOSAL OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND HEALTH OF COLLECTORS OF RECYCLABLE MATERIALS OF VIÇOSA - MG THROUGH THE

Introduction: The collectors of recycle materials from Vicosa - MG - Brazil perform their activities in precarious conditions of security, exposed to the diverse situations of risk, condemning them it a suffering quality of life and health. In intention to transform this reality, the present project had the objective to consider the social inclusion and improvement of the quality of life of the collectors of recyclable materials of Vicosa - MG - Brazil. Materials and Methods: In the fi rst stage, it was made a diagnosis of the profi le, the quality of life and the complaints of muscular pains. In the second stage, it was elaborated proposals of the programs of physical activities and valorization of the professional work. Results: The results indicated: age between 24 and 66 years-old; 60% are women and 40% men; time of study of 1 the 11 years; hours of working enters the 5h and 12h; monthly income between R$50 and R$500; 83.33% consider their quality of good life; they complain of pains with more frequency and intensity in the spine, the stomach region and the knees. Discussion: It was concluded that the insertion of a program of professional valorization and physical activity will positively infl uence in the quality of life and health and, mainly, favoring the social inclusion in our society.
