The invention discloses a processing method for a steam seal ring of a steam turbine, and relates to the processing method for the steam seal ring of the steam turbine. The invention aims to solve the problem that a current steam seal ring processing method is high in cost. The processing method comprises the following steps: turning steam seal ring blank in a whole-ring mode, and cutting the tuned steam seal ring by use of a linear cutting machine tool. The processing method can be used for processing the steam seal ring with one ring of the blank, and reducing workload of repairing a radiant surface by a bench worker, thereby improving the production efficiency and saving the blank. The processing method is applied to the field of steam turbines.
