Simulation of the prime mover and its speed control system with VI technique

The theory and method are introduced for the simulation of the prime mover and its speed control system based on the Virtue Instrument technique. The core of hardware is a multifunctional DAQ and the LabVIEW software is used to develop a virtual instrument (VI). The paper also designs software system and hardware system. The results show that the new system can control the rotation speed steadily and simulate the characteristics of self-balancing, water hammer effects, volume effects of the prime mover and its speed control system.It lays a good foundation for dynamic simulation.
