Electrostatically induced voltages about high voltage lines

Abstract Procedures by means of which the magnitudes of voltages induced on objects beneath or adjacent to high voltage transmission lines can be evaluated are discussed. These procedures are applied to a variety of practical situations which might represent a hazard to the safety of humans or animals.
