Simulation of Sensors and Image Reconstruction Algorithm Based on Genetic Algorithms for Electrical Capacitance Tomography System

Finite Element Method is used in the simulation of the sensors and the computation of the normalized sensitivity distribution. A method of translation the sensitivity distribution from the Finite Element field to the image-reconstruction field and a novel image reconstruction algorithm based on the genetic algorithms is proposed in this paper. With the using of flow regime data in initializing the resolution, the section image can be reconstructed with better accuracy at a higher speed, and the accurate ratio of different component can be attained in the mean time.
