Design of creepage protection equipment for electric vehicle based on FPGA

In order to prevent the damage to people by the creepage of high-voltage batteries on electric vehicle (EV), a solution of creepage protection based on FPGA was provided according to the relevant national standards. A unified model of insulated circuit for high-voltage power supplies in EV was given, then the solution through the aspects of outside circuit design and FPGA development were analysed. The result of experiment indicates that this solution can give timely detecting and protecting when it happens creepage or person's getting an electric shock.
