The development of communication technology has led to massive amounts of data transfer. This requires high-speed data transfer and optical communication. This paper proposes a Trans-Impedance Amplifier(TIA) for 20Gbps optical communication which is achieved by advanced regulated-cascode(RGC) TIA and stabilization effect based on negative feedback. It has 51dB gain, 13GHz bandwidth and 7.8mW power consumption.
