Forward error correction performance in correlated fading channels

We propose a simple analytical upper bound on the pairwise error probability of random error correcting codes when used over a Rayleigh fading channel with exponential time-correlation. The results are derived under the assumptions of coherent demodulation, soft decision decoding, and perfect channel state information.<<ETX>>
