Modeling and relization of cross-docking logistics system

Based on the vehicle routing problem and bin packing models,a mixed integer linear programming model is presented for the cross-docking routing and scheduling problem with the objective to minimize the cost including storage cost,transportation cost,and vehicle setup cost.Three approximation algorithms are moreover proposed,and each of them respectively stresses the storage,vehicle utilization and the mixed cost of them.A vehicle routing and scheduling system is finally design and implemented to show the application of the model and the algorithms.
