Bi2O3-based Erbium doped fiber laser with over 130 nm tunable range

We have demonstrated Bi<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-based erbium doped fiber ring laser. Only 0.2-m of BIEDF as a gain media shows 134 nm tunable range and high signal-to-noise ration over 70 dB for 120 nm tunable range.
