Study on a Gas Dispersion Model under Dynamic Wind Conditions

In this paper,we study a gas dispersion model under dynamic wind conditions,based on the Gaussian dispersion models such as Gaussian plume model and puff model that are widely used in previous literatures.These Gaussian models both assume that wind conditions should be constant in the process of dispersion,which is not always the case in practical applications.We combine some mathematical methods,such as coordinate transformation,with these Gaussian models to build our gas dispersion model which adapts to dynamic wind conditions.Our model consists of three parts: pretreatment of grid,Gaussian models selection,and coordinate transformation.We state the main idea and algorithm of our gas dispersion model in this paper.Finally,a simple discussion concerning program design and applications is given.
