Practices of CO_2 EOR in China

Practices of CO2 EOR over the past 50 years in China have been investigated extensively.Based on data of laboratory experiments from various oilfields,the key technical parameters of CO2 flooding are investigated,and comparative analysis is performed for initial reservoir pressure and minimum miscibility pressure.Field cases of CO2 flooding are generalized based on the types of reservoirs such as low permeability,high water cut,complex fault block,heavy oil,carbonate and coal bed methane.The result indicates that the recovery factor is increased by 1.07%～6.00%,and the utilization factor is 0.98～2.49 t/t.Finally,the direction of research on COflooding is proposed in conjunction with field experience and existing problems.
