The Buffer of On-board Test Circuit Module in High g Shock

In order to record the real time acceleration-time curve for a projectile of penetrating hard target in high velocity with on-board test technique, the circuit module must be cushioned and protected. In this paper,we discussed the non-linear buffer's theory and technique, selected the better buffer material, and designed the foamed aluminum samples. The tests of static compression was carried out to obtain stress-strain curve. At last, LS-DYNA was employed to simulate the buffer effect of the foamed aluminum samples in an air gun shock test, and the on-board test circuit module used in certain type projectile penetrating concrete aims was projected. The data capture rate and the reused times of circuit module are improved. It is proved with experiment that the designed buffer can protect the circuit module.
