The Choice of Cell Size and the use of Pre-Calculated Correction Factors in the Analysis of Planar Circuits using FDTD and TLM

In this contribution it is shown that small changes to the choice of cell size in the FDTD and TLM methods can have a large effect on the predicted behaviour of a microstrip filter but that the use of Pre-calculated Correction Factors (PCFs) can vastly reduce this effect and also yield more accurate answers for a specified cell size.
