BENEFICAL USES OF DREDGED MATERIAL: YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW

Natural processes bring soil down the river and into the estuaries and seas, and natural processes bring weathered rock material along the coast and up the estuary. In other words, this material is basically a natural resource and should not be regarded as a waste material that has to be disposed of.
