Subcarrier allocation for downlink in multiuser OFDMA networks - joint rate request and channel gain

This paper proposes subcarrier allocation to users in multi user OFDMA networks to fulfill the rate requirements and is considered as non linear optimization problem. In this proposed solution, subcarriers are allocated based on gain and data rate requirement of individual user, our simulation results have shown that, subcarrier allocation based on rate requirement and gain could lead to data rate maximization in the network. This fair allocation of Subcarriers can fulfill QOS requirements for all the users in the cell and could be maintained through out the connection life time.
