New intelligent optimization means for rolling parameters of cold strip tandem mill based on strip gauge and shape objective function

Strip gauge and shape are the two main quality targets of strip products. This paper adopts intelligent optimization method--Immune GA to optimize rolling parameters at cold tandem process whose objective function is the shape and gauge. With the example, the effectiveness of the method is proved. The rolling schedule could be used as the theoretic basis for the trial production of new grade and optimization of the existing rolling schedule.
