Analysis of Failure Probability of Steel Structure in Fire Based on Monte-Carlo Method

Using Monte-Carlo method and analytical methodof steel structure resistance fire capability,a calculation model of failure probability of steel structurein fire wasestablished.Based on the calculation model,double coupling process of randomnessand determinacy was analyzed.Firstly,the random scene of firewas assumed.And then according to the probability distributionsof the random parametersof fire in the building,a large number of samples were obtainedusing mixed congruence methodand inverse functionmethodof Monte-Carlo.Finally,the performance of the samples was simulated usingOzone,and thefailureprobability of the structure infirewas analyzed.Based on thismodel,the failure probability of the girder steel underdifferent thickness of fire retardingcoating in fire,which happens in one-living room,was discussed.It can provide a new method for quantitative analysis of fire risk of building structure.
