Practical Evaluation of Li-Ion Batteries

Rechargeable batteries are key technology for developing many emerging applications. Thousands of academic papers have been published on this topic. It is quite often that the conclusions and claims are overstated, partially due to significant deviation of lab testing conditions from practical battery design. This paper points out common problems that could mislead the evaluation of the new materials and new devices.
