The computation of internal dose distribution based on medical image processing

Radionuclide has been more and more widely used in clinic treatment.Its effect of therapy is determined by the distribution of dose absorbed in the body,so the dosimetry is the foundation for the evaluation of the treatment.The Monte Carlo method is a very important method for the calculation of internal dose distribution and the result of the computation depends on the human anatomy model we choose.In this paper,we computate the dose distribution by a more precise Monte Carlo human simulation model,which is constructed by the dataset of VIP-MAN modified by the clinic image data.
