Simultaneous determination of 5 mycotoxins in Chinese patent medicines by high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry

Objective To establish a high performance liquid chromatography- tandem mass spectrometry method( HPLC-MS /MS) for determination of patulin and aflatoxins( B1,B2,G1,G2) in Chinese patent medicines containing haw.Methods Sample was extracted by acetonitrile- water( 84∶16) and purified with mycosep 228 Aflapat mutifutional column,then separated on a C18 chromatographic column with methanol- 0. 01 mol /L ammonium acetate solution as mobile phase,and detected by MS /MS in the ESI- MRM mode. Results The detection limits of the method were 0. 1 μg /kg ~ 1 μg /kg,the recoveries ranged from 71. 8% to 86. 0%,and the relative standard deviations( RSDs) were in the range of 0. 2% ~ 11. 4%( n =3). Conclusion The method is accurate,sensitive,simple and suitable for determination of aflatoxins and patulin in Chinese patent medicines.
