Moving object video surveillance method based on multi-PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom)-camera linkage structure

The invention discloses a moving object video surveillance method based on a multi-PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom)-camera linkage structure. The multi-camera linkage structure is adopted, a fixed camera is used for completing full-view surveillance, recognizing targets entering a surveillance region and determining location and moving speed and direction of the targets. When the targets pass through boundary or region set by users, the full-view surveillance camera detects intrusion location, moving track and speed of the intrusion objects and converts the detected information into control information to send to pan-tilts for erecting cameras for close-up tracking so as to drive the cameras which are erected at different corners of a surveillance field and on the rotatable pan-tilts having two degrees of freedom, and then the cameras can adjust resolution automatically to track the targets and guarantee to take pictures of the targets clear enough for the users to recognize, thus close-up tracking of the lock targets is completed.
