PMU based transient stability predication in power system

This paper presents a polynomial method to fast predicate tendency of maximum relative swing angle using post fault generator rotor angles measured by synchronized phasor measurement units,then to determine transient stability.This method is independent of the characters both of power system structure and faults.The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated by computer simulated results of an actual power system.
