Method and system for reducing data transmission quantity in data synchronization

The invention discloses a method and a system for reducing data transmission quantity in data synchronization. The method comprises the following steps of: identifying different data values in each data column in a changed source data table; coding the data values in each data column, wherein for each data column, the different data values have different coding values; identifying different change types and change bits in data change historical information; and according to the different change types and the change bits, generating a change matrix by using the coding values of the different data values in each data column. With the change matrix, the data, having the same change, of different rows in original data change are combined into the same change row of the change matrix, so the data transmission quantity is reduced, and synchronization efficiency is improved.
