Impulse-response and reverberation-decay measurements made by using a periodic pseudorandom sequence

Abstract A detailed account of the cross-correlation method involving the use of a periodic pseudorandom sequence for impulse-response and reverberation-decay measurements is presented. Experimental results are also provided to demonstrate the potential of this method for making measurements in a very noisy environment.
