Surendran K. Shanmugam is a PhD candidate in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at the University of Calgary. He received his MSc in Electrical Engineering at the same university in 2004 following the bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering, at the Anna University (India) in 2001. His research interests include high-sensitivity GPS, ground based wireless location and generally in the areas of communications theory and statistical signal processing.
