SEMINARI DI NEUROSCIENZE

In this lecture we give an overview of several methods that, in a Systems Biology perspective, can be applied to several types of omics data (from genomics, to metabolomics data, but also brain connectomics). Network methods can be used to extract useful information both from a single network or from multiple integrated omics layers (multiplex), as can be produced in a typical high-throughput experiment. In some cases, network formalism and stochastic matrix approaches can be integrated to gain a dynamic perspective on the studied problem.
