Proposed model to evaluate the impact of e-training on work performance among IT employees in Malaysia

The revolutionary development of e-training has made its way into Malaysian organisations, and the most obvious defect of the evolving technology is the focus on the technology (the “e”) and not in the training. This paper seeks to review on how e-training among IT employees affect their performance at work. Furthermore, it is intensively important to evaluate the effect of e-training towards the performance of employee since IT organisation fundamentally depends on the expertise of the employees which demands a constant refurbishment due to rapid technological change. Therefore, this study will propose a research model to evaluate the effectiveness of e-training towards work performance.
