Mode shape convertor produced by the thermal diffusion of different dopants

A novel method is proposed for producing mode shape convertors by the controlled thermal diffusion of different dopants. Mode shape convertors with an aspect ratio of up to 3.5 are produced by using PANDA fibers.<<ETX>>
